加州 HIPP 保費協助：先確認 Medi-Cal 類型及成本效益審核
加州 Health Insurance Premium Payment（HIPP）可為符合條件的 Medi-Cal 會員提供私人健康保障的保費等協助，但並非所有 Medi-Cal 會員都適用。官方要求完整範圍及按服務收費的 Medi-Cal，並由 DHCS 評估成本效益；Medicare、TRICARE 或 Medi-Cal managed care 參加者不符合該項目條件。

California HIPP premium assistance: check Medi-Cal type and cost-effectiveness first
California's Health Insurance Premium Payment program, or HIPP, can assist qualifying Medi-Cal members with private health coverage costs. It is not available to every member. DHCS requires full-scope, fee-for-service Medi-Cal and a cost-effectiveness determination. Enrollment in Medicare, TRICARE or Medi-Cal managed care makes a person ineligible for this program.
Ask HIPP@dhcs.ca.gov about suitability, then use the official application and supporting-document list. A Chinese application is available. Appointing a representative is optional; complete the other required documentation. Do not cancel coverage or change care arrangements merely to pursue the application.
For approved applicants, reimbursement generally begins with the approval month and requires payment evidence. Dropping private insurance ends HIPP eligibility; coverage or personal-information changes must be reported. Applying is not approval or a promise of immediate reimbursement. Continue checking premium due dates so existing insurance is not lost while the application is considered.
