Buy Nothing

Joining Buy Nothing: locate the official community and give without payment
Buy Nothing supports neighbours giving, asking and sharing, rather than buying or bartering. Its help centre describes location-based participation through the app, or finding registered local Facebook groups through Registered Buy Nothing Groups in account settings.
Core participation is free; subscriptions are voluntary support, not a required payment to receive a gift. The community agreement requires adult participants to follow local laws and give without purchase, reward or exchange conditions. Read local rules and prohibited-item guidance rather than assume any similarly named group is officially registered.
Describe condition and collection arrangements and judge an item's suitability before accepting it. Avoid publishing a complete home address or unnecessary personal details. A request guarantees neither an item nor safe collection or product quality. This guide only identifies joining routes; it has reserved, sold and requested nothing for readers.
