Planning Petaluma travel: weekday buses and weekend LumaGo checks
Petaluma Transit’s current update states that, from August 10, 2026, fixed-route buses and ADA paratransit operate Monday–Friday within a 6 a.m.–6 p.m. service window. Neither service operates on weekends. This is the overall window, not a promise that every route runs throughout it. Check the current route timetable and return journey before a commute, appointment or shopping trip.
The same update lists Access by LumaGo on-demand service Monday–Thursday 7 a.m.–8 p.m., Friday 7 a.m.–10 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.–10 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.–6 p.m. It prioritizes seniors and riders with disabilities. For weekend travel, confirm the service area, booking procedure and personal eligibility; do not treat it as a scheduled bus or a guaranteed immediate pickup.
