Reading UCLA oral histories: Korean American family experiences and memories of LA Koreatown
UCLA Library’s Center for Oral History Research preserves interviews about Los Angeles and Southern California. The public H. Cooke Sunoo interview is one starting point for readers interested in Korean American family and local history. Its English transcript has five sessions recorded between June 11 and July 25, 2008, covering family migration, identity and memories of LA Koreatown.
Choose a session from the contents and use the browser’s find function to locate a place or topic.
