暫無穩定住處的加州學生：缺文件不應單獨阻礙即時入學
加州教育部指出，缺乏固定、經常及適當夜間住所的兒童及青少年，可能符合無家可歸學生定義；例如因失去住房或經濟困難而暫住他人家中。不是所有合租情況都自動適用，可向學區的 homeless liaison 說明實際住居狀況。
符合條件的學生，有權即時進入同區學生可入讀的公立學校，即使錯過申請期限，或暫缺成績、接種紀錄、住址及監護文件。先聯絡學區協助確認資格與入學安排，不必等所有文件補齊才尋求協助；原校延續就讀等個別安排亦可向聯絡員查詢。

California students without stable housing: missing records should not alone block enrollment
California identifies homeless children and youth by the absence of a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime residence. Temporarily sharing housing after displacement or financial hardship may qualify; ordinary shared housing does not automatically do so. Explain the circumstances to the district’s homeless liaison.
Eligible students have a right to immediate enrollment in a public school available to other students in the same area, even after missed deadlines or without academic, vaccination, residency or guardianship records. Ask the district to assess eligibility and arrange enrollment rather than waiting for every document. The liaison can also explain individual school-of-origin arrangements.
