Planning a visit to Richmond’s October 10 Dashain Mela
NANC announces the Grand Dashain Mela for Saturday, October 10, 2026, from noon to 10 p.m. at the Nepali Community Center, 369 Chesley Avenue, Richmond, CA 94801. General admission is free and families from different backgrounds are welcome. Advance registration helps organizers plan attendance.
Free entry does not mean all purchases are free: food, merchandise and commercial stalls have separate arrangements. Vendors, performers and volunteers use different registration categories, and performance slots require confirmation. The complete running order had not been published on the page checked. Email info@nancusa.org or call 510-520-8484 with questions.
Some overview wording groups festival rituals together, but the FAQ explicitly places Ghatasthapana, Durga Puja and Jamara planting on the following day, October 11.
