紐約換邊停車暫停：掃街豁免不一定免付咪錶
紐約市 Alternate Side Parking 是為掃街而設的停車規則。NYC DOT 提供年度法定及宗教節日暫停日曆，也連到 NYC311 與 Notify NYC 的天氣或緊急狀態通知；不要只依去年截圖判斷當天是否要移車。
一般節日的暫停只影響掃街限制，其他停車規則仍然有效。官網另以星號標出 Major Legal Holidays，這些日子的咪錶及部分禁止停車規則有不同處理；整週適用的禁令不能因此忽略。應逐一讀車旁告示。

NYC alternate-side parking suspensions do not always suspend meters
New York City's Alternate Side Parking rules support street cleaning. NYC DOT publishes a yearly calendar of legal and religious holiday suspensions and links to NYC311 and Notify NYC for weather or emergency changes. An old screenshot cannot establish today's requirement to move a vehicle.
On ordinary holidays, a suspension affects street-cleaning restrictions only; other parking rules remain effective. The calendar marks Major Legal Holidays separately, when meters and certain parking prohibitions are treated differently. Restrictions applying seven days a week cannot simply be ignored. Read the signs beside the actual parking space.
A Traditional Chinese PDF and importable calendar are available, but weather decisions can be announced late. Recheck the day's status before travelling and watch for local suspensions while street signs are replaced. This guide explains how to find the rules; it does not declare every street free today, authorize a particular parking space or decide a ticket dispute.
