加州修車前後要留甚麼：估價、追加授權與最終帳單

California’s Bureau of Automotive Repair explains that an estimate should identify expected parts and labor costs, and the customer must authorize repairs before work begins. Authorization may be written, oral or electronic. If diagnosing a problem requires taking components apart, ask about that teardown charge first: it may apply even when you decline the repair.
Finding another problem is not permission to expand the job. Additional repairs require authorization. If you want replaced parts returned, request them before approving the work. Keep the final invoice and check the business identification, license number, work performed, supplied parts and charges.
