Buying UCSB surplus: check payment, pickup and final-sale terms
UC Santa Barbara's Surplus Sales provides public purchasing and auction routes for excess university property. Inventory changes; items reserved for campus use or awaiting listing are not necessarily available to the public.
Sales are final and items are offered as-is, where-is, without a condition guarantee. Auction winners must follow each listing's payment and collection rules. Pickup generally requires the award notice, paid receipt and government photo ID. Buyers arrange packing, lifting and transportation. Inspect condition and assess collection costs before bidding.
