KCI adult Korean in San Francisco: alphabet entry, placement and attendance
Korean Center, Inc. offers adult study from Hangul introduction through advanced conversation. Complete beginners can consider Intro to Korean; people who learned Hangul elsewhere should discuss placement with the coordinator.
The FAQ distinguishes three-hour evening classes from 1.5-hour morning classes. Textbooks cost extra. Passing requires at least 70% attendance; students cannot make up an absence by joining another class, and lessons are not recorded.
Most classrooms are not wheelchair accessible. Contact the school about access needs or placement after a break of two semesters. Confirm current enrollment dates, availability and fees separately.
