WTC Health Program: check eligibility and exposure records; online applications still need an ink signature
Application groups include FDNY responders, general WTC responders, survivors meeting geographic and exposure criteria, and Pentagon/Shanksville responders. Having lived, worked or attended school somewhere does not by itself establish eligibility; check the required location, dates, activities and hours for the correct category.
Apply through OASIS or use mail/fax forms, including Traditional Chinese versions. Online applications still require supporting records and a signature form signed in ink; electronic signatures are not accepted. Keep a copy and call 888-982-4748 for help. Applications are not accepted by email, and sensitive health details should not go to the general enquiry inbox. The program’s formal eligibility decision determines enrollment.
