Coronado Friends Bookstore：D Avenue

Coronado Friends Bookstore: D Avenue used books and larger-donation contact
Coronado Friends Bookstore, formerly Second Hand Prose, is on D Avenue behind the library, across from the high school. Published hours are Monday–Saturday 10 a.m.–4 p.m. and Sunday 1–4 p.m.; telephone 619-435-1516. The Honor Shop inside the library lobby is a separate book-shopping location with its own arrangements.
Bring donations during shop hours rather than leaving them outside. Contact the shop first for more than three boxes or bags. Books from the past five years are generally preferred, with separate consideration for rare, collectible and local-interest material in good condition. Outdated textbooks, encyclopedias and some older media are not accepted. Audiobook CDs and music CDs have different rules, so read the complete list before sorting a donation. The page gives acceptance guidance, not an offer to buy books or a promise of particular titles in stock.
Location: CA, United States. Checked October 4, 2026 (Pacific time). Evergreen guide; original publication date not provided.
