Pasadena borrowing resources: reserve STEAM kits and return them to library staff
Pasadena Public Library lends STEAM activity kits covering subjects such as coding, photography and engineering. A card may hold up to three kits for three weeks. Check contents and availability in the catalog, then place a hold for collection at a suitable branch. Holds remain available for seven days after notification. Children need adult supervision, and kits must be checked out from and returned to staff; use the enclosed current checklist to count the parts.
The same official resource lists games and other equipment, with category-specific rules. Central Library is closed for earthquake retrofit and repairs, so its Innovation Lab is not a walk-in destination; some equipment and programs operate at branches. Confirm the actual pickup location or appointment, and do not treat a catalog listing as guaranteed same-day stock.
