UC Santa Cruz Slug Support 希望在學生困難擴大前提供支援。個案經理可協助適應大學生活、連結所需資源及理解校園行政程序，不限於已發生重大危機才可詢問。
在學的學位課程本科及研究生，若面對基本需要的緊急資金缺口，可按 Getting Started 頁查詢評估。支援安排取決於實際情況，不能視作固定現金補助或住房保證。可電郵 deanofstudents@ucsc.edu，簡述需要並按職員指示提供資料。

UC Santa Cruz Slug Support: contact case managers before a difficulty becomes a crisis
UC Santa Cruz’s Slug Support aims to help before difficulties grow into crises. Case managers assist with adjustment to college, resource connections and navigating campus systems; students do not need to wait for a major emergency to inquire.
Currently enrolled degree-seeking undergraduates and graduate students facing emergency gaps in basic-needs costs can consult the Getting Started page about assessment. Support depends on circumstances rather than a guaranteed cash grant or housing offer. Email deanofstudents@ucsc.edu with a brief description of the need and follow staff instructions for further information.
