使用 ParkNYC 前，先讀停車標誌，並核對車輛所在街道一側的六位數區碼及實際車牌。帳戶有多輛車時尤其要確認選對車牌；官方說明，輸入錯誤車牌可能仍被開罰單。應從 NYC311 的官方連結進入應用程式或網站，付款完成後查看有效時段。

Before paying with ParkNYC, verify the plate, street-side zone and time limit
Before using ParkNYC, read the parking signs and verify the six-digit zone for the side of the street where the vehicle is parked, plus its actual licence plate. Take particular care when an account contains several vehicles; NYC311 warns that selecting the wrong plate can result in a violation. Follow NYC311’s official app or website links and check the confirmed session time.
The app does not override posted limits or street-cleaning restrictions. Extensions remain subject to the zone’s maximum permitted time. Moving to another zone requires a new session; do not assume the previous payment covers the new space.
