加州 DSIG 助學金：先確認資格與服務機構，再安排義工時數

California’s Dream Act Service Incentive Grant connects qualifying community or volunteer service with additional financial aid. CSAC lists requirements including the academic year’s California Dream Act Application, qualifying Cal Grant status and financial need. Completing volunteer work alone does not establish an award.
A separate annual DSIG application is required, and accepted students track eligible service. The official overview specifies 300 hours per academic year, connected to the field of study or a community need. A payment request is still needed after the required hours are completed. Before starting, ask the campus financial-aid office or dsig@csac.ca.gov to confirm the current application route, organization and service-hour rules so unsuitable activities are not counted.
