紐約 DFS 的 Lost Policy Finder 協助尋找已故近親可能留下的壽險或年金給付。遺產執行人、管理人或符合定義的近親可提出申請；服務免費，並不是付費代尋業務。

Missing a deceased relative’s life policy: understand New York’s free search service
New York DFS’s free Lost Policy Finder helps locate potential life-insurance or annuity benefits associated with a deceased immediate family member. Estate executors, administrators and eligible close relatives may request a search; it is not a paid tracing service.
First check personal papers and former employers’ benefits, then prepare birth and death dates and the last address. DFS forwards requests to New York-licensed insurers, but search scope varies with the insurer’s state of incorporation. It is not a worldwide policy search. Privacy rules may restrict disclosure to non-beneficiaries, and an insurer must still verify benefit-claim documents.
