Moe's Books is at 2476 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley, telephone 510-849-2087. General opening hours are daily, 11 a.m.–7 p.m., but buying and trading end at 5 p.m. The later shop closing time is not a final book-buying deadline.
Ordinary visits need no appointment, although large quantities should be discussed beforehand. Staff must see books to make a cash or trade offer; a call or email does not guarantee purchase of an ordinary title. Demand changes with stock and sales. Moldy, damaged or coverless books are excluded. Highlighted copies are generally unwanted, with different considerations for current textbooks accepted by its textbook partner.
Trade credit applies to specified used and remaindered books and greeting cards, not automatically all new titles, and is not valid in the separate More Moe's art and antiquarian shop. Check edition and condition, and send details and photographs ahead for a large collection. This guide promises no valuation, quantity purchased or current inventory.
