Sacramento

Sacramento Library of Things: reservations, two-week loans and returns
Sacramento Public Library's Library of Things includes tools, musical instruments and photography equipment. Start with its official catalogue and reservation calendar. A photograph of an item does not mean every branch has one ready today.
A cardholder may have two Things checked out and up to three reservations for different items, with currently borrowed Things included in that reservation limit. Loans last two weeks and cannot be renewed. Wait for an availability notice before collecting from Arcade, Fair Oaks or Valley Hi-North Laguna during opening hours. Walnut Grove's collection is accessed by visiting and checking what is available.
Return the item to its original pickup location during opening hours, rather than an arbitrary branch. The page specifies adult and card-fee eligibility conditions; call 916-264-2920 if uncertain. Check accessories, instructions and the due date at collection. This guide neither makes a reservation nor sells equipment or guarantees that a particular tool suits a job.
