If Medicare records show services never received, supplies never delivered or an unfamiliar sales arrangement, California Senior Medicare Patrol can help assess the concern. The Department of Aging lists 855-613-7080 for reporting suspected Medicare fraud, error and abuse. It is not a sales line for a replacement insurance policy.
Organize the statement or notice, service dates, provider names and a record of care actually received. An unfamiliar entry needs checking rather than a public accusation. Do not post Medicare numbers, complete medical records or bills on a forum. Before changing coverage, read the written terms instead of signing under sales pressure.
