Callen-Lorde adult first visits in New York: book, register and confirm coverage
Adult medical patients new to Callen-Lorde can use its registration page to book in Manhattan, Brooklyn or the Bronx, or call 212-271-7200. The insurer and clinician network still need checking; an online appointment does not establish that every charge is covered.
The clinic prompts patients to complete MyChart registration forty-eight hours before the visit. In-person registration is available if that cannot be completed. A first visit must take place in person; arrive at least thirty minutes early with photo identification and any insurance card. Ask beforehand about interpretation and income-based fee assessment.
Behavioral healthcare has separate limits. At the time checked, it was restricted to patients already receiving Callen-Lorde primary care who were uninsured or had Medicaid, Medicare or ADAP; commercial insurance was not accepted for that service. Do not treat general adult booking as immediate access to every specialty. Confirm eligibility and charges with the clinic.
