Repair Café Silicon Valley：

Repair Café Silicon Valley: prepare accessories and check exclusions
Repair Café Silicon Valley holds volunteer repair events around Santa Clara County to extend the life of household belongings. Its FAQ recommends bringing power supplies, cables, manuals and known replacement parts. The usual limit is two items per household, subject to the individual event's rules.
Check exclusions before packing. Helmets, child car seats, medical devices, electric-bicycle batteries and recalled products are among items to leave at home. Repair work is free, but available replacement parts may be charged at cost. Volunteers cannot guarantee a successful repair.
Select a location and date on the official website and confirm that the necessary skills are offered at that event. Visitors check in and sign a waiver. This guide treats a calendar listing as neither a reservation nor a capacity guarantee. Its household-context cover is not an event photograph. Use appropriate professional services where specialized or safety inspection is required.
