灣區過橋繳費：車牌帳戶與快速收費車道並不相同
灣區 FasTrak 的 License Plate Account 可讓駕駛人以車牌資料繳付合適的橋樑通行費，毋須為此類帳戶使用感應器。官方同時提醒：車牌帳戶不能用來支付已收到的帳單或違規通知，也不適用於快速收費車道 Express Lanes。

Bay Area bridge tolls: what a License Plate Account covers
A Bay Area FasTrak License Plate Account can pay eligible bridge tolls using vehicle-plate information without a toll tag for that account type. It is not an Express Lanes account and cannot be used to settle an invoice or violation notice already issued.
The short-term option can cover qualifying bridge trips from the previous 48 hours and trips up to 30 days ahead. Rental-car users should first check the rental company's toll arrangement and whether they have declined or opted out of it as required.
Before opening an account, check the plate, issuing state, travel dates and payment details. Do not treat bridge payment as permission to use an express lane or claim a carpool discount.
