灣區新病人使用 NEMS 前：先完成登記及準備文件
希望使用 North East Medical Services（NEMS）加州醫療服務的新病人，應先完成會員登記，再安排診症。官方表示加入會員免費，沒有醫療保險也可以登記，但這不等於所有醫療服務都免費，會員卡亦不提供住院保障。

New patients seeking California services at North East Medical Services should register before arranging a clinical appointment. NEMS says membership is free and health insurance is not required to join. That does not make every treatment free, and the membership card does not cover hospitalization.
Call 1-888-500-1886, extension 8160, to schedule registration in person or by telephone. The official online registration route is available in Chinese, English, Vietnamese and Spanish. Prepare proof of address, photo identification, existing insurance information, and an emergency contact's name and telephone number. The page lists a Social Security number as optional; staff may still request additional documents.
After registration, contact NEMS or use its MyChart options to arrange available services. Keep membership and insurance details ready, and report changes of address or coverage. Ask staff about fees, coverage or interpreting needs. Completing registration is not the same as having a medical appointment confirmed.
