UCSF Alliance Health Project’s service center is at 1930 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94102. It provides mental-health care, substance-use counseling, case management and community support.
Most programs require an intake appointment; the website lists sexual-health services and drop-in support groups as exceptions. Call 415-476-3902 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to ask about suitable services and access. Most mental-health and support services are free, but some have income or insurance restrictions that should be checked individually.
