Orange Coast College

Orange Coast College Vietnamese: two introductory levels and prerequisite records
Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa lists Elementary Vietnamese 1 and Elementary Vietnamese 2 on its World Languages page. This is an official starting point for students seeking structured introductory study; check the current term’s schedule separately for sections, meeting times and seats.
The department says students transferring from high school or another college who previously studied the language and have not submitted transcripts to Enrollment Services need a prerequisite challenge form. Ask which records apply to your situation; using Vietnamese at home does not itself establish approval to skip a level.
For course inquiries, call 714-432-5716 or email pcasaus@cccd.edu. The department office is LLSS Room 333, with posted office hours Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. These are office hours, not Vietnamese class times; confirm visiting arrangements before traveling.
