Delano Adult School: free English classes and day or evening enrollment
Delano Adult School offers free adult ESL in listening, speaking and writing, with citizenship-test preparation also included. Levels range from beginning literacy to advanced, and CASAS results determine placement.
Day students visit the school office to register and take a placement test. Evening students must attend orientation and testing; visit or call the office to arrange the next orientation. The school is at 1811 Princeton Street, Delano, CA 93215; phone 661-720-4171.
Confirm current hours, required documents and available places before visiting. Those also pursuing a high-school diploma should request previous school transcripts for a counselor’s review before orientation. ESL registration does not itself establish admission to the diploma program.
