Burbank free food-scrap pails: resident ID and one per household
Burbank offers a free kitchen food-scrap pail with Burbank resident ID, limited to one per household. One pickup option is Burbank Recycle Center, 500 S. Flower St., Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–noon and 1–5 p.m. The official page also lists Water and Power at 164 Magnolia Blvd. and Public Works Field Services at 124 S. Lake St., with different office hours.
Use the pail to hold food scraps and food-soiled paper, then empty it into the green organics cart. Do not leave the small pail at the curb for collection. Saturday farmers-market distribution through LA Compost is subject to that day’s supplies. Recheck arrangements before travelling. The pictured metal bin is contextual, not the city-issued model.
