BBC reports two ships sunk in 24 hours amid Hormuz escalation
BBC reports that Iran has intensified attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz to pressure the United States, with two ships reportedly sinking within 24 hours. It separately relays a Houthi claim of an attack on Saudi Aramco’s headquarters and UN reports of severe food shortages in Yemen. BBC also reports discussions between Trump and Netanyahu about further joint strikes; discussion does not establish approval or execution. The description does not identify the two ships or their individual sinking times, so this summary does not describe them as two additional ships beyond the earlier single-vessel report.
