UCI 東南亞檔案館：查找家庭與社區口述歷史的起點
想整理越南裔、柬埔寨裔、苗裔或寮裔家庭在美國的社區記憶，可以先從 UC Irvine 東南亞檔案館的數位資料入口開始。VietStories 收錄附英文及越南文逐字稿的影音口述歷史；SEAAdoc 和 Calisphere 則提供影像、文字及其他檔案的查找途徑。不是每份檔案都有雙語版本。
若要查找尚未數位化的材料，可先用 UCI Library Search 或 Online Archive of California 搜尋，再向館員詢問使用安排。橙縣暨東南亞檔案中心也提供口述歷史、保存社區記錄及相關研究的諮詢；這不等於目前有免預約課程或保證接受捐贈。

UCI’s Southeast Asian Archive: a starting point for family and community history
UC Irvine’s Southeast Asian Archive offers a starting point for families exploring Vietnamese, Cambodian, Hmong or Laotian American community history. VietStories provides oral-history recordings with English and Vietnamese transcripts. SEAAdoc and Calisphere offer routes into photographs, documents and other archival materials. Not every record is bilingual.
For material that is not digitized, search UCI Library Search or the Online Archive of California, then ask staff about access. The Orange County & Southeast Asian Archive Center also offers consultation on oral history, documenting communities and research. This does not establish a current walk-in class or guarantee acceptance of donated materials.
Contact the center at ocseaa@uci.edu or 949-824-3819. Before visiting, consulting special collections or reproducing an archival image, confirm the relevant access and use conditions. Public viewing does not automatically permit republication.
The accompanying UC Irvine Libraries video recalls the opening of Voices of the People. Its physical exhibition ran from October 2025 through February 2026; it is not advertised here as an ongoing event.
