How to request Korean language help for California CSD services
California’s Department of Community Services and Development provides a Korean resource page for residents who need help communicating in English. To request translation or interpreting for CSD information and programs, call 866-675-6623. The department explains that when staff do not speak the requested language, it arranges free assistance through vendors.
Listed call-center hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time, excluding holidays. State that you need Korean assistance and identify the service you are asking about. The official page’s Find Services in Your Area tool helps locate local energy and community-service providers.
Language assistance does not establish eligibility for utility assistance or other benefits. Confirm application requirements and available services with the local provider. For a language-access problem, the page provides form CSD 375 and the contact LanguageAccess@csd.ca.gov.
