KAFA art award: distinguishing the closed 2026 cycle from future announcements
KAFA supports Korean American artists and describes a biennial $30,000 award for one recipient, with an exhibition in Los Angeles. The 2026 award is described as two instalments supporting artistic practice, exhibition preparation and installation.
The actual 2026 deadline was July 13 at 8 a.m. PDT and has passed. Retained Now Open wording and an application button do not establish that applications remain open. Artists preparing for a future cycle should check eligibility, portfolio requirements and new dates in the official announcement. This guide is neither a new call for applications nor an award guarantee.
