Goodwill NYNJ

Goodwill NYNJ shopping and donations: check local rules rather than another state’s policy
Goodwill NYNJ is an independent Goodwill organisation serving New York and northern New Jersey. Use its own store finder and local FAQ when planning a thrift visit or a goods donation; another state’s Goodwill prices, promotions or acceptance rules may not apply. Prices consider factors such as brand, condition and demand, and donated inventory changes. There is no promise that every item meets a fixed low price.
The FAQ covers clean, usable clothing, shoes, accessories, housewares, books and suitable small electronic items; furniture is not accepted. Confirm items and hours with the intended location. Request a donation receipt if needed; donors determine their items’ value rather than asking shop staff to appraise them. Shopping or donation questions can go to dgrcustomerservice@GoodwillNY.org. This introduces local retail and goods reuse, not individual tax advice or a specific shop’s current inventory.
Location: NY / NJ, United States. Checked October 4, 2026 (Pacific time). Evergreen guide; original publication date not provided.
