Kinmon Gakuen: youth Japanese placement, terms and fee inquiries
Kinmon Gakuen in San Francisco's Japantown offers Japanese language and cultural education for students aged five to eighteen. Reading, writing, conversation and cultural activities are grouped by Japanese proficiency. The 2026–27 Saturday program lists regular hours of 9 a.m. to noon.
Although the course URL retains 2025–2026 in its path, the actual heading and calendar explicitly describe 2026–27. Fall runs August 29–December 12, and spring January 23–May 15, 2027. Fall has already begun. November 28 is absent from the listed class dates, and spring also has skipped weeks; follow the dated calendar rather than assume every Saturday.
The page lists a one-time annual registration fee of $50, tuition of $500 and $480 for each additional sibling, but that paragraph does not explicitly identify the tuition's semester or annual billing period. Before paying, call 415-567-4383 about that period, mid-term entry and placement. The address is 2031 Bush Street. An enrollment notice does not guarantee space in every level.
