Hartnell

Hartnell noncredit English: tuition-free does not remove every student charge
Hartnell College's English for Multilingual Speakers program serves adults eighteen and older across beginning to advanced reading, writing, listening and speaking. Use its placement guide or interest form to find a level. Contact 831-386-7105 or learnenglish@hartnell.edu for assistance.
Noncredit courses numbered 620–662 are tuition-free, but the page lists a twelve-dollar student fee; books and parking also need checking. These courses do not earn units and differ from credit courses numbered 120–162. The page states that a Social Security number or residency proof is not required. Ask staff about forms instead of sharing identity documents in public comments.
Registration includes both the Noncredit Admission Application and Master Registration Form. A support session helps students use MyHartnell, college email and related accounts. Student identification also supports the currently described MST bus benefit. A visible timetable does not reserve a seat. Complete registration and confirm charges and instructor directions before attending; employment or further-study outcomes are not guaranteed.
