Lions In Sight of California and Nevada

Lions In Sight eyeglass donations: remove cases and confirm the route
Lions In Sight of California and Nevada collects glasses for sorting, cleaning and processing into vision-service supplies. It does not simply hand the next donated pair to the next visitor. Donating equipment and applying for vision assistance are separate processes.
Its list includes eyeglasses, prescription or nonprescription sunglasses and broken parts suitable for scrap recycling. Remove all eyeglass cases before sending. Clip-on sunglasses with metal parts are listed, while entirely plastic clip-ons should be excluded. Hearing aids and phones have separate uses and should not be treated as eyeglass accessories.
Check an officially listed collection point or participating local Lions club, or mail to 1404 Lemon Street, Vallejo, CA 94590. Collection points do not accept printer or toner cartridges, even though the organization has other recycling routes. Before organizing a large collection, confirm packaging, delivery arrangements and costs. This guide books no pickup, promises no fitting appointment and determines no personal tax outcome.
