加州網約車司機查保險：等單、接客途中與載客時分開問
加州網約車 TNC 的保險按工作狀態分段：已開程式等候配對、接受行程後前往接客，以及乘客上車至離開車輛。平台提供的保障不應只用一句「全程有保」理解，司機需把每一段分開核對。

California rideshare-driver insurance: check waiting, pickup and passenger periods separately
California divides transportation-network-company driving into distinct periods: an app is open while awaiting a match, a trip has been accepted before passenger pickup, and the passenger is in the vehicle until exiting. A general statement that a platform provides insurance is not enough to understand each period.
CPUC requires disclosure of platform coverage and liability limits and warns about personal-policy exclusions for this paid use. Ask the personal insurer and platform when liability, collision or comprehensive damage to your vehicle, driver injury protection and deductibles apply. Liability insurance for damage caused to others is not the same as cover for repairing your own car.
Keep current personal and commercial or TNC insurance evidence for an accident. The Department of Insurance page still includes historical product lists, which do not prove current availability. Obtain written explanations before starting or changing platforms or vehicles. This guide determines no claim and does not assume delivery work, ordinary carpooling and paid passenger transport use identical coverage.
