Narika in the Bay Area: multilingual support and helpline contacts
Narika provides free, confidential support for people experiencing domestic violence in the Bay Area. Its official FAQ says advocates and volunteers speak multiple languages directed toward South Asian communities, and people should contact it regardless of English ability. It does not list every language available on each shift; ask about the language you need rather than assume immediate interpretation.
The helpline is 1-800-215-7308. The homepage lists Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., using Pacific time. The general office number, 510-444-6068, has separate Monday-through-Friday hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Email is narika@narika.org.
