紐約 Child Health Plus：按家庭情況選計劃，不把免共付當免保費
紐約 Child Health Plus 是兒童健康保障計劃，與兒童 Medicaid 的適用範圍不同。官方列出的基本條件包括未滿十九歲及居住紐約州；家庭收入、現有保險及其他可享保障亦會影響資格。查詢可致電 800-698-4543。

New York Child Health Plus: distinguish premiums, enrollment and copayments
New York Child Health Plus is children's health coverage with eligibility distinct from Children's Medicaid. Basic requirements include being under nineteen and living in New York State. Family income, existing insurance and access to other coverage also matter. Call 800-698-4543 for program information.
A child who is not Medicaid-eligible may still qualify, but existing health insurance or eligibility for the public employees' state health-benefits plan requires checking. Applications go through NY State of Health. Confirm the child's doctors, needed services and available plans in the relevant area rather than choosing solely by an insurer's name.
Monthly premiums depend on income and household size: some families pay none, while others pay a contribution or the full premium. The absence of service copayments does not mean every family has no monthly bill. Use the income table applicable when applying. Keep approval, effective-date and renewal notices; submitting an application is not confirmation that coverage has begun.
