Free LA K-pop Academy, October 14–16: apply by October 12 and attend the full program
KCCLA and the King Sejong Institute Foundation list the free 2026 K-pop Academy for Wednesday–Friday, October 14–16, with choreography instruction involving KAHI, formerly of After School. The linked application requires all participants to be available for the entire three-day program. Each person must complete an individual form, with an October 12 submission deadline.
The October 14–15 classes are at the Korean Education Center Los Angeles, 680 Wilshire Pl #200, Los Angeles. Beginner classes run 3–5 p.m. and advanced classes 6–8 p.m. The October 16 final showcase moves to the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles, 5505 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles. The form lists 6–8 p.m. for the showcase, with the performance at 7 p.m. Plan around the two distinct institutions and addresses.
If applications exceed capacity, beginners are selected first-come, first-served, while advanced applicants are assessed using submitted dance videos. Selected participants receive individual email notifications. Submission alone does not confirm selection or admission; contact kpop@kccla.org about participation and preparation.
