Southern California KAMA youth choir: checking rehearsal schedules before a 2026–27 season inquiry
Korean American Music Academy (KAMA) Choir offers young Korean Americans opportunities to learn singing and music together. Its homepage presents 2026–27 season registration alongside its aims of developing musical and vocal skills, lasting appreciation of music and sharing music with the community.
The current “Schedule & Location” lists rehearsals at Lutheran Church in the Foothills for La Crescenta on Mondays, 4–6 p.m.; Rejoicing Presbyterian Church for Torrance on Wednesdays, 4–6 p.m.; Korean Methodist Church of Philadelphia in Fullerton on Thursdays, 5–7 p.m.; and Irvine Baptist Church on Fridays, 4–6 p.m. These are the regular schedules displayed on the website; ask about changes for holidays or events.
The September 9, 10, 11 and 14 open houses on the same page have already passed as of October 8, 2026. To inquire now, email kamachoir@gmail.com with your preferred location and the student’s age and musical experience. Confirm whether mid-season applications are possible, age requirements, audition or placement steps, fees and the actual time for a visit. The public information does not establish current vacancies or free participation, and a regular rehearsal listing should not be treated as permission to arrive without contacting the choir.
