VA Foreign Medical Program：出國前查閱受保障病況及報銷文件
FMP 可支付符合規定的海外必要醫療，包括 VA 認定與服役相關的傷病、經 VA 確認會加重該傷病的相關病況，以及部分 VR&E 復康就業計劃所需治療。它只適用於外國接受的照護，不適用於美國或美國領地提供的服務或物品。

VA Foreign Medical Program: check covered conditions and claim documents before overseas care
FMP may cover necessary care abroad for a VA-rated service-connected disability, a related condition VA determines aggravates it, or certain Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) needs. It applies in foreign countries, not to care or supplies provided in or from the US or its territories.
For overseas care related to a service-connected disability, VA directs veterans to download their FMP benefits letter through Letters on VA.gov. Review covered conditions and share the letter with the provider for claim instructions. If care has already occurred or the provider does not submit claims, you can submit supporting documents yourself. VR&E care for a non-service-connected condition requires a prior case-manager referral. Ask VA about uncertain services; FMP is not comprehensive travel medical insurance.
