Sacramento Broad Room free art supplies: book first and take what you will use
Broad Room’s Free Art Supply Closet at 1409 Del Paso Boulevard, Sacramento distributes donated new and gently used art materials for free. Anyone able to book an appointment and visit may use it, though popular supplies may have quantity limits. Take what you will use and do not treat category descriptions as a same-day stock list.
Its August–December 2026 schedule lists Wednesday, 10 a.m.–noon, and Saturday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m., by appointment. Planned Thanksgiving closure runs November 24–December 1, and winter closure begins December 17. The warehouse has no air conditioning, and high-temperature forecasts may cause additional closures. Check the actual booking and notices before traveling; supply inquiries go to fasc@broadroom.org. Studio rental, events and the free-supply program are separate arrangements.
Location: CA, United States. Checked October 4, 2026 (Pacific time). Evergreen guide; original publication date not provided.
