HAFA Milwaukee: planning Southeast Asian-language medical interpretation
HAFA’s interpretation service helps Southeast Asian residents with limited English communicate with health professionals. The official description lists Hmong, Lao, Thai, Burmese and Karen, with interpreters accompanying people to hospitals or clinics. This is language support; qualified health professionals remain responsible for diagnosis and treatment decisions.
