Oakland

Oakland Korean School adult classes: placement before payment
Oakland Korean School's adult classes are entirely online and separate from children's admission. Its fall 2026 schedule began Levels 1 and 2 on August 8, Saturdays at 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and 8:30–10:30 a.m.; Level 3 began August 12, Wednesdays at 6:30–8:30 p.m. All have started. The homepage separately says new children's registration is unavailable for this fall.
The FAQ lists regular semester tuition of $360 and Level 1 at $370. Another option charges $160 for six weeks of alphabet study and $230 to continue, which is a different total. Ask which arrangement applies. Level 1 supplies online materials without a textbook purchase; higher study uses the Sogang series.
Contact soranmin@naks.org for placement or 510-747-8216 and okoreanschool@gmail.com for general questions. New groups need six students and continuing groups five; private tutoring may be discussed if numbers are insufficient. Do not assume immediate entry, a refund or adult instruction at the school's physical address.
