Habitat LA ReStores sell donated furniture, household goods and building materials to the public, using proceeds to support housing work. Donations do not generally go directly into Habitat-built homes. Check the current acceptance list first. The organization says it lacks resources to repair or refinish items and considers lightly used goods in working condition.
Arrange pickup through the website or 424-246-3637. Its FAQ states there is no mandatory pickup charge; twenty-five dollars is a suggested contribution. Timing depends on location and scheduling, not guaranteed same-day service. Put items in an accessible driveway, porch, garage or curbside area before the agreed collection. This is not an indoor dismantling service.
