Foothill Veterans Resource Center: academic planning and transfer counseling
Foothill College's Veterans Resource Center offers academic, transfer, career and related counseling for military-affiliated students. Book with the VRC counselor through the official page or call 650-949-7912. Explain whether the request concerns starting college, current coursework or evaluation of credits from another institution.
Counseling can help develop a Student Educational Plan suitable for VA education-benefit arrangements, discuss certificate, degree or transfer goals, and navigate transcript evaluation. Students needing classroom or testing adjustments can ask how the center works with the Disability Resource Center. Selecting a military status during registration does not complete every support or accommodation process.
The college identifies veterans, active-duty personnel, reservists, National Guard members and eligible dependents among those served. Benefits, certification and fee waivers still have their own eligibility rules and agency decisions; a counseling appointment is not approval of funding. Prepare educational goals and previous course information, then submit personal service or benefit documents privately through the route staff request.
