Adult ESL in Yuba City: arrange Sutter County orientation and reading placement
Sutter County Adult Education’s ESL program serves learners aged 18 or older whose first language is not English. Classes combine reading, writing, listening, speaking and computer skills for everyday life, with levels from beginning to advanced. Students should not choose a level solely by its name: the official program requires a CASAS reading assessment before class registration.
When checked, the school homepage advertised 2026/27 high-school-diploma and ESL enrollment and asked students to call to arrange orientation. General inquiries: 530-822-5120, with published hours Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. The address is 875 Harter Parkway, Yuba City, CA 95993. Confirm the orientation time, required materials, classroom location and remaining places first.
The ESL page also describes BurlingtonEnglish, combining classroom activity with online practice. Ask about account access, equipment and internet requirements if practicing at home. This guide does not provide a verified total fee, fixed class start date or guarantee of a place; confirm these for the chosen class.
