AMVETS Long Beach: different shopping and donation hours, plus pickup arrangements
AMVETS Long Beach Store is at 3315 E South Street, Long Beach, CA 90805; call 562-272-7300. Official shopping hours are daily, 9 a.m.–7 p.m.; the donation center closes earlier at 3:30 p.m. Do not assume donations are accepted until the shop closes. Secondhand stock changes with donations, so call about the category you need.
For collection, use the Los Angeles/Orange County form linked from the organization’s pickup page, call 1-877-990-8387 or email Donations@amvetscasf.org. Standard collection instructions require items outside and labeled AMVETS; drivers cannot enter the home.
The page also lists a paid expedited service operated by third-party ReSupply. Do not confuse it with ordinary donation collection. Confirm large-item acceptance, permitted goods, address coverage and scheduling first.
