Camp Choson: exploring a Korean heritage camp for teenagers
Camp Choson began with adoptive families and now supports cultural connection and identity development for Korean adoptee and mixed-heritage youth. It is governed by the St. Croix Korean-American Cultural Society. The resident-camp guide describes shared meals, peer activities and conversations about growing up Korean American.
Examples include Korean cooking, drumming, team tasks, archery and skits. Families should use the official Resident Camp registration route to check the next session’s age range, location, dates, costs and parent-consent process. A general program description does not establish that registration is currently open or every activity is offered in every session.
